Max Verstappen's father, Jos Verstappen, will reportedly miss the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this week following his comments about Red Bull's team principal.

Max Verstpapen's father, who was present in the paddock during the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix, told the Mail Sport that if Horner remains the team principal of Red Bull, it will tear the team apart.

This statement came after the weekend, during which an anonymous email was sent to 150 recipients, including major media and F1 personnel.

This email included alleged evidence in the previously conducted investigation against Christian Horner for inappropriate behavior towards the female employee. Verstappen's father also added:

"It can't go on the way it is. It will explode. He is playing the victim, when he is the one causing the problems."

According to ESPN, the 52-year-old will not attend this week's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. However, as per De Telegraaf, the father is serious about what he said and also told some of his friends that his son, Max Verstappen, will leave the team if he has to.

Jos Verstappen was also spotted having a heated argument with Christian Horner the night before the Bahrain Grand Prix, but according to ESPN, he returned and apologized later.

Jos Verstappen was quite busy during the weekend as he was also spotted talking to the team principal of Mercedes, Toto Wolff. Whether this had anything to do with his words about Max leaving Red Bull, we don't know.

Moreover, ESPN reports that the team principal of Silver Arrows was spotted having dinner with the 52-year-old during the build-up to the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Is the triple World Champion's father orchestrating a move to Mercedes amid all the controversy around Christian Horner in the team from Milton Keynes?

On top of everything, the president of FIA, Ben Sulayem, told Max Verstappen, according to Daily Mail, that he "must publicly back" Christian Hornern, which hasn't happened so far.
