Visa Cash App RB, formerly known as AlphaTauri or Scuderia Toro Rosso, is an Italy-based Formula One team competing in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship.

Visa Cash App RB, or simply "RB," is one of the two teams (the second one being Red Bull Racing) owned by the company - Red Bull GmbH competing in Formula One. The team competes under the Italian flag and is based in Faenza, Italy.

The origins of the RB team go back to 2006 when Dietrich Mateschitz and Gerhard Berger bought out the team formerly known as Minardi. The team was rebranded to Scuredia Torro Rosso when Red Bull GmbH took full ownership of it in 2008.

Toro Rosso was later rebranded to AlphaTauri with the objective of promoting a Red Bull-owned clothing wear brand. However, after the end of the 2023 season, a decision was made to rebrand the team again.

The Italian team was previously known as Red Bull's B team or Red Bull's junior team, but it wanted to take on a new identity. So, ahead of 2024, the team underwent a significant rebrand.

This included changing the sponsor's name and almost everything except for employees. RB is supposed to represent a new era for the team. It is now referred to as a sister team of Red Bull Racing, and its goal is to compete for podiums and race wins.

There was a lot of controversy surrounding the team's new name. The problem was that the official name included only two sponsors and "RB," - which is how Red Bull was known and how Red Bull named their cars. Nevertheless, it was established ahead of the 2024 season that the team will be casually referred to as RB.

RB's driver lineup for the current season consists of Daniel Ricciardo, who joined AlpaTauri in 2023, and Yuki Tsunoda, who has been with the team for three years already.
