Racing Bulls is officially the new name of the team that was referred to as VCARB or RB in 2024. The team also has one new driver in their lineup.

After Sergio Perez from Red Bull announced he would be taking a break from racing, Liam Lawson was promoted to the A team, and Isack Hadjar is coming in to fill his empty seat.

Isack Hadjar chose number 6 for his first season in Formula 1. This number was previously used by Nico Rosberg and Nicholas Latifi.

Along with Liam Lawson, Tsunoda was the strongest candidate for promotion to Red Bull. The Japanese driver ultimately didn't get it, which means he is staying with Racing Bulls, at least for 2025.

Nico Hulkenberg decided to leave Haas after the end of 2024 to join Sauber / Stake. Although the Swiss-based F1 team was the worst in 2024, there is a promise of improvement as it will transition to Audi in 2026.

The only problem is that the two Sauber drivers first need to fight through 2025. Hulkenberg is joined by a very promising rookie - Gabriel Bortoleto, who won F3 and F2 in two consecutive seasons (2023 and 2024) before being promoted to F1.
