Lance Stroll

Lance Stroll is a Canadian and Belgian racing driver who drives for the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship.

Lance Strulovitch was born on October 29, 1998, to his mother- a Belgian fashion designer, Claire-Anne Callens, and his father, Lawrence Stroll - a successful billionaire businessman who is now a part owner of the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team.

Like almost every other driver, Lance Stroll started his career in karting, where he won multiple races and championships. In 2008, he won the Federation de Sport Automobile du Quebec Rookie of the Year award. In 2010, Stroll became a part of the Ferrari Driver Academy.

Progressing to single-seaters, Lance Stroll dominated the Italian F4 Championship, scoring seven wins and 13 podium finishes. In 2015, the Canadian won the Toyota Racing Series and also joined a Formula 3 European Championship, during which he won multiple races in the end, finishing the season in fifth place.

In 2016, Stroll completed 24 Hours of Daytona as well as Formula 3 driving for the Prema Racing team. He dominated the championship, winning 14 races of the season. His great results caught the attention of the WIlliams Formula 1 racing team with which Lance Stroll signed a contract starting in 2017.

He gained his first-ever points magically right at the Canadian Grand Prix, and during his first year at Williams, he also scored his first F1 podium during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, making him the youngest rookie and the second-youngest driver to score a podium in Formula 1.

During his 2019-2020 seasons at Racing Point, Lance Stroll achieved his first pole position during the Turkish Grand Prix and his second podium during the Italian Grand Prix. In 2021, Racing Point Team was rebranded to Aston Martin, where Lance Stroll races until today.
