Las Vegas Grand Prix

The 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix is the 22nd race of the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship, held on November 21 - 23, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

The United States has one of the wealthiest histories when it comes to motor racing, and it's not a surprise that the country had the second-most drivers in Formula One, just behind the United Kingdom, and two World Champions when Phil Hill won in 1961, and Mario Andretti repeated his feat in 1978.

Therefore, it's not surprising that the United States is also one of the most active countries regarding the total number of Grands Prix held in the country, and the country tops the list in number of circuits that had a Formula One race in a single country.

Formula One cars raced at the Caesars Palace Grand Prix Circuit, Circuit of the Americas, Dallas Fair Park, Detroit Street Circuit, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Long Beach Street Circuit, Miami International Autodrome, Phoenix Street Circuit, Riverside International Raceway, Sebring Raceway, Watkins Glen International, and in 2023, another circuit saw Formula One cars race around it, the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

The temporary street circuit, 6.120 kilometers (3.803 miles) long, hosts the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the latest addition to the Formula One World Championship. The race will see drivers complete 50 laps, with a total distance of 305.880 kilometers (190.065 miles).

Thanks to the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which is held along with the Miami Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix in a Formula One calendar, three races were held in the United States in a single F1 season for the first time since 1982.
