Christian Horner

Christian Horner is a former British racing driver and current team principal of Red Bull Racing in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship.

Christian Edward Johnston Horner was born November 16, 1973, to a family involved in the car industry. Horner has two brothers, Jamie and Guy. He was married on 15 May 2015 to a Spice Girls member - Geri Halliwell. The pair had their first child (a son) in 2017. Horner is also a stepfather to Halliwell’s daughter, Bluebell Madonna.
Christian Horner started his career in karting and moved on to racing cars after he won a Formula Renault scholarship in 1991. In 1992, Christian Horner competed and won a race in the British Formula Renault Championship. He ended the season as the highest-placed rookie.
In 1997, Horner founded his own Formula 3000 team named Arden. According to him, he used borrowed money to set up the team and also bought a second-hand trailer from Helmut Marko, who, as the head of the Red Bull Junior Team, was one of the main competitors back then in F3000.
Horner gave up his position as a driver after the 1998 season. During the pre-season test at Circuito do Estoril, Horner tried to follow Juan Pablo Montoya and realized he was "not capable of replicating the level of commitment."
Horner transitioned to a managerial position, and the team went on to achieve great success under his lead in Formula 3000 - now known as Formula 2. In 2005, Christian Horner was appointed as the Team Principal of Red Bull Racing.
The Red Bull Racing team has transitioned from the midfield team to a dominant force in Formula One under the lead of Christian Horner. He is currently one of the most successful team principals on the grid.
Christian Horner has won a Red Bull total of 13 World Championships with the team. Six Constructor's Championships and seven Drivers' Championships. Horner is also one of the longest-serving principals in the current Formula One season.
