Max Verstappen previews the final race weekend of the 2024 F1 season at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, suggesting he cannot wait for the break.

Coming into the final race weekend of the 2024 season, there is not much left to fight for when it comes to the Red Bull Racing F1 team and Max Verstappen.

The 27-year-old secured his fourth title one race weekend ago in Las Vegas, and Red Bull pretty much lost their chance to fight for higher positions in the Constructors' Championship after Sergio Perez's DNF in the Qatar Grand Prix.

Getting prepared for the final push in the 2024 season, Verstappen first thanked his team for the great turnaround from the previous race weekend in Qatar, where he won his 63rd Grand Prix race.

"Qatar was an exciting race and it felt good to win there again. The car felt a lot better to drive and it was a great performance all round from the Team."

The four-time world champion would like to finish the season on a high with another victory, but he already cannot wait for the end of the season, as he revealed.

Max Verstappen has made it clear in the past that he thinks 24 race weekends in one F1 season is too much, so the Dutchman now looks forward to a proper winter break before the start of the 2025 season.

"We are on to the final race of the season and Abu Dhabi always brings back good memories. It would be great to finish the season on a high and try and bring home the win here."
"It has been a long season and we are ready for a bit of time off and to spend quality time at home with family and friends."
"The team have worked incredibly hard this season and everyone deserves a break to relax once the season has wrapped."
