Mercedes Confirm Launch Date Of Their W15 For 2024 F1 Season

Mercedes announced the launch date of their car for the 2024 F1 season, and everyone will be able to be a part of it, virtually.

With the 2024 season nearing, teams started to announce the launch dates of their new cars. Mercedes' main rival, Red Bull, announced their launch around the same time, and now, only three teams have yet to confirm when fans will get to see their new car - McLaren, AlphaTauri, and Haas.

When it comes to Mercedes, the team recently extended their contract with Team Principal Toto Wolff, who revealed it during a recent interview while also claiming that if Lewis Hamilton is given a competitive car, he can start winning again.

Now, we know when fans will get to see the car, which Hamilton will hope would be competitive, and we also know the official name of it - Mercedes-AMG F1 W15 E Performance.

The launch date is set for February 14th, 2024, and the launch event will be streamed from Silverstone, according to their official website, and all fans will be able to follow it via the team's social media channels.

On top of that, Mercedes offers fans a unique opportunity to see the launch in person. While watching it online is certainly a good experience for every fan, getting to experience it in person is even more special.

Therefore, the team offers this opportunity to ten of their fans, giving away five pairs of tickets for the official launch, which will take place on the Silverstone Circuit.

In 2024, Mercedes will hope to forget their struggles from the previous two seasons, when they were able to win only one race, even though they challenged for podiums constantly.

However, after eight consecutive World Constructors' Championships, the last two seasons were certainly not satisfactory for the German team with a base in the United Kingdom, and that's something they hope the new W15 would change.
