Red Bull will soon launch their car for the 2024 F1 season, and the team has announced the official launch date of their RB20.
In the 2023 Formula One season, the RB19 was one of the most dominant cars in the sport's history. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez managed to win all but one race in 2023, and even though there's not much space to improve, they will try to do that in 2024 with their 'Formula One Challenger.'
Multiple teams have already announced their launch dates, and Red Bull Racing is one of the teams that took time with their announcement, sharing it only 31 days ahead of the launch.
On Red Bull's official website, the team announced that their RB20 will be launched on February 15th, 2024, and unsurprisingly, the car will be called RB20, following the previous RB19, which was the team's most successful car ever.
At this point, only McLaren, AlphaTauri, and Haas are yet to confirm their launch dates, with seven out of ten teams already confirming when fans will be able to see their new cars for the upcoming 2024 season.
In 2024, Red Bull will challenge for their third consecutive World Constructors' Championship, and the fourth consecutive World Drivers' Championship, and it's expected that immediately after the car's launch, it will be quite apparent whether it will be able to challenge for titles again.
But it won't be until February 21st and 23rd, when teams will take to Sakhir to test their cars during a three-day official pre-season testing, when we'll get to know the real performance of each car, including the RB20.
After that, the first Grand Prix weekend of the season will be held on the very same circuit in Bahrain, staring on February 29th and ending with the race on March 2nd.
