Christian Horner denied claims of tension between the key figures inside the Red Bull Racing team amid his investigation.
Christian Horner is still being investigated for "inappropriate behavior" towards one of the female employees of the Red Bull Racing F1 team.
The team principal has not been proven guilty so far, so he retains his innocence and continues business as usual in his position as the team principal of the Austrian team.
Consequently, he attended the recent launch of Red Bull's 2024 challenger RB20, where he answered questions from the media related to his investigation.
It was suggested there had been friction between Horner and other key figures inside Red Bull, including Max and Jos Verstappen. Asked about the speculations, the 50-year-old said, according to Sky Sports:
"No not at all. I was with Jos and Max at Silverstone a couple of days ago. Max is very focused on his job. He's been very supportive and I'm looking forward to the season ahead with him."
Max Verstappen was also asked in a separate media session at the launch about the state of his relationship with Christian Horner after the accusations that surfaced in recent few weeks, and he said:
"It is very good. We have seen each other quite a couple of times, I've been on the simulator, he was also there when we were filming. We have achieved a lot of things together, so that doesn't change suddenly."
As it stands, the team principal of the team from Milton Keynes will be present during the pre-season testing that will take place at Bahrain International Circuit. As to the relationship with Red Bull's motorsport advisor, Helmut Marko, Horner added:
"There's always going to be speculation but we're together as one team, that's the way we've always been and that's the way we continue to be."
