Scuderia Ferrari team principal revealed the date when the public will find out the design of Ferrari's 2024 car.
With the 2023 season finished, all F1 teams have time to focus on the development of their cars for the next season, which starts on the 29th of February with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The Pre-season testing is when we will see F1 cars compared to each other for the first time on the track, and that will take place a week earlier at the same track from the 21st to the 23rd of February.
However, we have good news for the passionate Ferrari fans who can't wait to see their favorite team's new car. Scuderia plans to unveil their new car a week before the pre-season testing in Bahrain.
All the Tifosi can mark the date of 13th February in their calendar as that is when we will see the SF24 for the first time officially unveiled by the team. The team's principal Frederic Vasseur told the media:
"The launch will take place on the 13th of February, the day before Valentine's Day. You will see the rest on the 13th."
The Italian team gave out a few hints in recent weeks suggesting they plan for more drastic changes to their car going into the next season.
Ferrari's chassis technical director, Enrico Cardile, suggested that next year's car will be a new chapter. Vasseur added that the team wanted to reveal the car a bit later, but due to logistical challenges, there was no other option.
"We have the test a bit earlier and it's it's quite a challenge to put everything together, we had no other option. I think that some of our teams are doing it on the 14th. But it's quite challenging to be already for Bahrain."
