The full driver line-up for the 2024 F1 season has now been confirmed after the last driver signed the contract.
With 19 out of 20 drivers confirmed for the 2024 season, there was only one seat left until recently. Now, we know that
Logan Sargeant will be driving for
Williams Racing, joining
Alex Albon as in 2023, completing the drivers line-up.
The
recently crowned three-time World Champion,
Max Verstappen, will once again join forces with
Sergio Perez, defending both Drivers' and Constructors' World Championship.
Mercedes will attempt to attack the championships once again, and they have both drivers signed until 2025, as
Lewis Hamilton and
George Russell will be teaming up for the upcoming two seasons.
Ferrari is also one of the teams that is negotiating new contracts, as
Charles Leclerc and
Carlos Sainz have their seats until the end of 2024, but both drivers would like to extend their contracts.
Aston Martin is also not going to change their drivers line-up, as experienced
Fernando Alonso will team up with
Lance Stroll, with both drivers attempting to follow up on a successful season.
French team
Alpine will be going with a French duo again, after
Pierre Gasly and
Esteban Ocon proved to be quite a good team, despite worries that it may not be the case.
One of the teams that has their drivers signed for a longer period is
McLaren. The British team has a contract with
Lando Norris until 2025 and with
Oscar Piastri until 2026, with them, obviously, pairing up again for the 2024 season.
The last four teams in the 2023 World Constructors' Championship all have their drivers signed until the end of the 2024 season.
Alfa Romeo will go again with experienced
Valtteri Bottas and youngster
Zhou Guanyu, and the same applies to
AlphaTauri with
Daniel Ricciardo and
Yuki Tsunoda.
Haas is going with experience, having both
Kevin Magnussen and
Nico Hulkenberg on the grid for the 2024 season.
