Red Bull Racing F1 driver Max Verstappen reacted to recent rumors that suggested team principal Christian Horner was trying to "axe" Helmut Marko.

Red Bull is having arguably the most successful season ever in 2023, winning every single race of the season so far besides the Singapore Grand Prix.

The team from Milton Keynes has a 331-point lead ahead of Mercedes - the second team in the Constructors' Championship ahead of the 2023 United States Grand Prix.

However, recent rumors suggested all is not well inside the team as Christian Horner was allegedly trying to 'axe' Helmut Marko from the team in a battle for power.

Helmut Marko recently addressed these rumors, saying it is not up to Horner to decide about his future in the team. Horner replied to these rumors acknowledging Marko's role in the team and saying he has no desire to see it change.

Max Verstappen was asked to give his opinion on the matter ahead of the 2023 United States Grand Prix Sprint Weekend. The flying Dutchman dismissed the rumors, calling them "bull***t."

"From the outside, people are basically trying to talk BS. The mood in the team is very good and everyone knows exactly what their role is and of course, it was sad times last year when Dietrich passed away."

Three-time World Champion explained every single person who is currently on the team carries an important role that is key to success.

"But we have tried to keep that legacy, keep it moving forward and everyone that we have right now in the team is important to the success that we are having. That is why there are no changes for the future, and I think that basically explains it."

The Red Bull team as a unit has been giving astonishing performances this season race-to-race. Verstappen will have a chance to award the team with his 50th F1 Grand Prix win this weekend at COTA.
