While many F1 fans would like to see a closer battle for the Championship and a different winner,
Red Bull will most likely win the next two seasons. Here are three reasons why.
3. Regulations Change In Two Years, And There Is Not Enough Time To Catch Up
In 2026, Formula 1 will enter into new regulations that prescribe a new concept of F1 cars with completely different power units - a massive shift to what we see now.
The season 2026 is the next biggest opportunity for every single F1 team to get to the top of the field, as such major changes will most likely reshuffle the pecking order.
Consequently, every single one of the F1 teams will almost fully shift their focus on 2026 regulations after the end of the season 2024.
This means that the cars we see in 2024 will not likely change much going into 2025, and the team that will lead in 2024 will most probably win in 2025.
As of this point, Red Bull went into the summer break with quite a gap over their rivals and is expected to lead in 2024...
2. Red Bull Is Apparently Already Focusing On The 2025 Car!
As written above, F1 teams won't have too much time to focus on cars for the 2025 season. Therefore, the fact that Red Bull can already do that suggests two things.
First, the team from Milton Keynes is very confident in their car for the season 2024 - which suggests no team might be able to catch up with them.
Second, Red Bull will again have more time for the development of the car for season 2025 which means they should win both this and next year.
1. Max Verstappen...
The triple World Champion has achieved incredible results during the 2023 season, and at this point, in time, the Dutchman seems unstoppable.
Last year, the 26-year-old achieved enough points to secure the Constructor's Championship for Red Bull Racing by himself. Even if Red Bull had only one driver in 2023, they would still win both championships.
This tells us two things again. Firstly, Red Bull has an incredible car. Secondly, Red Bull has an amazing driver that will deliver results consistently no matter the circumstances.
So let's say that some team manages to make a big enough step forward to match the pace of RB20. Their drivers still have to beat the
Max Verstappen, which will not be an easy task.
