Lando Norris unveiled a unique helmet design in collaboration with Herend Porcelain that he will wear during the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix.
During the podium celebrations after the 2023 Hungarian Grand Prix, Lando Norris broke Max Verstappen's trophy for first place.
The McLaren driver has his own special way of spraying the champagne. He starts by slamming the bottle against the ground or podium, which results in a huge blast of champagne up in the air.
The problem was that the 24-year-old slammed his champagne bottle against the podium, which made the delicate hand-crafted trophy produced by Herend Porcelain bounce and fall on the floor, breaking in half.
While it wasn't too big of a deal to the triple World Champion, who already has a huge cabinet consisting of many trophies, it was considered a bit disrespectful against its maker.
Norris later apologized, and the trophy was restored, so everything had a happy ending. However, the 24-year-old McLaren driver decided to make up for his actions further in the following season—this year.
The Briton partnered up with Herend Porcelain to produce a unique helmet design, which he shared on his social media, where he said:

"Honour to team up with @herendporcelain on this hand painted masterpiece for Hungary. When we got together we knew we wanted to do something special and here it is. From the bottom of my heart thank you (and sorry about last year) ❤️"

The McLaren driver also visited Herend Porcelain's factory on Wednesday ahead of the 13th round of the season at Hungaroring, and it seems he has now been forgiven for last year's incident.
Lando Norris won't be the only one with a unique Helmet design based on the Hungarian Grand Prix trophy produced by Herend Porcelain.
Esteban Ocon also revealed a helmet inspired by a similar design, but his design is based on the trophy that he won in the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix—his career's first victory.
