Alfa Romeo driver
Valtteri Bottas decided to create a nude calendar for a good cause and raised around $150,000.
The F1 2023 season has been full of surprises for Formula One fans both on and off track. One of the biggest off-track surprises came from Valtteri Bottas.
While the driver did not have much luck on track this season with the uncompetitive Alfa Romeo team that finished ninth in the Constructor's Championship, he shocked the whole paddock when he announced his new November project.
Bottas made a collaboration to produce a calendar for the year 2024 that would feature a different nude picture for every single month of the year.
The project was created with the goal of raising awareness around the issue of prostate cancer, and 5$ of each sale was donated to prostate cancer research and other issues highlighted by the Movember movement.
Movember is an annual event that takes place every November, during which men trim their beards and grow their mustaches to raise awareness around men's issues like prostate cancer, testicle cancer, and men's suicide.
Bottas's project definitely raised awareness around the whole paddock and also raised a lot of smiles as he did it in quite a funny way. Watch how the pictures in the calendar came to life:
The calendar was on sale throughout the whole of November on bottass.com for $19,90 and eventually sold out. With the last day of the month approaching, Bottas shared amazing news.
The Finn shared on his social media like X (Twitter) and Instagram that the sale of his 2024 calendar generated somewhere around a whopping $150,000!
Bottas thanked everybody who helped to support a good cause by purchasing the calendar and as a result, helped to save many people's lives. Would you like to see the 2025 edition of the calendar in the future?
