Daniel Ricciardo stated he is looking ahead to 2024 to repeat performances as he showed during the 2023
Mexico City Grand Prix with a little bit different approach this time around.
In 2023, he took part in seven Grand Prix Races, with the best performance during the Mexico City Grand Prix, where he
outperformed drivers like Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton to put his AlhaTauri in P4 for the race.
The Honey Badger later delivered what was the best result of the season for his team after he finished seventh in the race at
Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
The Australian driver shared his mindset changed after staying out for a couple of races at the beginning and middle of the season. He told the
Speed Cafe:
"I’m coming from a place of gratitude, but I’m also coming from a place where I’m going all in, and I will expect results out of myself."
The 34-year-old suggested he was satisfied with his performance during the Mexico City Grand Prix and will be looking to show something similar next season.
"I will expect me to do things like I did in Mexico and turn some heads, and have people saying ‘Oh, he’s still got it,” because I believe I can."
"Certainly, I will always put some pressure on myself to deliver, but it’s just probably the approach is a little bit different this time around."
