Reason For Suspension Of Employee Who Accused Horner Revealed

Recent reports revealed the reason behind the suspension of the employee who accused Christian Horner of inappropriate behavior.

Just a few days ago, we learned from a PA news agency report that Red Bull has suspended the female employee who accused the team principal, Christian Horner, of inappropriate behavior.

Firstly, it wasn't clear why this had happened, but BBC reports that it learned that the employee had been suspended for being dishonest. In the meantime, the employee will be paid full pay.

Horner was asked about the complaint during the team principals' press conference ahead of the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and he said that he can't comment on anything "confidential between the employee and the company." He also said:

"The reality is, there was a grievance that was raised. It was dealt with in the most professional manner by the group, not by Red Bull Racing, but by the owners of Red Bull GmbH that appointed an independent KC, that is one of the most reputable KCs in the land."

The name of the external lawyer who conducted the investigation is not known. According to BBC, Red Bull refused to share their name. The team principal of the F1 team continued:

"He took time to investigate fully all of the facts, he interviewed all of the people involved together with others of interests. He looked at everything, he had all of the facts, and he came to a conclusion where he dismissed the grievance."

Quite a few things have happened since it was announced that the 50-year-old had been cleared of all the accusations, but the team principal of the Red Bull Racing F1 team wants to draw a line behind everything and move forward.

"As far as I'm concerned, as far as Red Bull is concerned, we move on and we look to the future."
