Max Verstappen clinched yet another pole position in the 2024 F1 season, dominating in the qualifying for the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit was one of only three places where the Dutch driver lost this season, but it's looking like he may avoid it this year, as he dominated in the qualifying once again.
Verstappen recorded the fastest lap of the qualifying at 1:27.472, which was faster than everyone else, including second Charles Leclerc in Ferrari, who was 0.319 seconds behind the Dutchman.
Red Bull driver's teammate, Sergio Perez completed the virtual podium for the qualifying, finishing 0.335 seconds behind his teammate in the qualifying for the second race of the season.
Leclerc's teammate, Oliver Bearman, who replaced Carlos Sainz who had to undergo surgery, didn't get out of Q2, placing 11th, which is certainly a good result for the 18-year-old.
A good result is also fourth place for Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, who lost only 0.374 seconds on the pole position, especially compared to his teammate Lance Stroll, who finished only 10th.
McLaren will be certainly happy about how the qualifying finished as well, as they will occupy the third row, with Oscar Piastri fifth and Lando Norris sixth.
While the third row will be orange, the fourth row will be Silver. Mercedes drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton placed seventh and eighth, respectively, in qualifying.
RB's Yuki Tsunoda was one of the surprising drivers in Q3. He outqualified Stroll and finished ninth. He also out-qualified his teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, who finished only 14th.
The session wasn't a very good one for Alpine, as Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly placed only 17th and 18th, respectively, and the same applies to Kick Sauber drivers Valtteri Bottas (16th) and Zhou Guanyu (20th).
Haas placed 13th with Kevin Magnussen and 15th with Nico Hulkenberg, while Williams' drivers will have mixed feelings with Alex Albon 12th, while Logan Sargeant finished only 19th.
