McLaren F1 team unveiled a special livery ahead of the last race of the season - the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit.
McLaren was one of few teams that did not run a special livery during last week's race in Las Vegas. However, the team saved a beautiful design for the season's last race.
The special livery was designed by an artist named Nujood Al-Otaibi, who is a part of Vuse's Driven By Change platform that allows opportunities to underrepresented artists.

Launched in 2021, the platform created by Vuse in collaboration with McLaren Racing aims to champion upcoming, underrepresented artists.
Artists have an opportunity to submit work ideas for a chance to receive mentorship and access to the racing industry and showcase at Grand Prix events.

In 2022, there was a different artist selected to design a livery for McLaren. Lebanese artist Anna Tangles designed a McLaren that ran the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
McLaren made big progress this year with the development of their car, so Nujood Al-Otaibi might have a chance to see it parked behind one of the top 3 boards in the pit lane.
On the other hand, the team struggled during the last race at Las Vegas Strip Circuit as both drivers had an incident during the race.
Lando Norris crashed his car on lap three and could not continue in the race, while Oscar Piastri had an incident with Lewis Hamilton that resulted in a puncture, which completely changed his strategy.
The Australian driver shown there was some pace in the McLaren car when he set the fastest lap of the race of 1:35.490 on lap 47 before he crossed the finish line in P10.
McLaren will hope the new livery for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will bring their team better luck as the battle for fourth place in the Championship is on the line going into this race.
Aston Martin stands 11 points behind McLaren in the Constructors' Championship, and the team's principal said his team "will never give up" in the fourth-place battle.
