McLaren F1 team made a new collaboration deal with Mercedes' long-term partner after the end of the 2023 season.

The McLaren team just recently prolonged its collaboration with Mercedes. As a result of their new deal, McLaren will continue purchasing power units from the German team until at least 2030.

Not too long after the prolonged collaboration announcement, McLaren shared yesterday, that the team will be the new partner of Monster Energy from the 2024 season onwards.

Monster was one of the major Mercedes partners through all the successful years of the team. The chair and co-CEO of Monster Energy Company, Rodney Sacks, said, as quoted by motorsport.com:

"We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Mercedes Formula 1 team, and [motorsport boss] Toto Wolf in particular, for a partnership that has spanned well over a decade and seen us celebrate some wonderful success together. We wish the team well for their upcoming championship campaigns."

Mercedes F1 driver Lewis Hamilton even has his own zero-sugar drink with Monster. However, his collaboration with Monster will apparently continue despite the energy drinks company ending its partnership with Silver Arrows. Sacks added:

"Monster Energy is proud to start this new chapter in its F1 journey with McLaren Racing. Monster is focused on enhancing fan experiences and partnering with a world-class team and its elite drivers to share our passion with F1’s global audience."

Lastly, the energy drinks company's CEO hinted that Monster and McLaren fans can look forward to new exciting collaborations with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

"We are planning some really exciting programs with Lando and Oscar and are excited to go racing together from 2024."

McLaren is one of the most marketable teams in Formula One. Its partners include companies like Cisco, Google Chrome, and Richard Mille amongst multiple others. The McLaren F1 team's CEO commented on the new deal:

"We are delighted to join forces with the iconic Monster Energy brand from next season onwards. Monster focuses on celebrating athletes through bold ideas and creating awesome content, so we can’t wait to explore ideas and find new ways to engage and entertain our fans."
