Toto Wolff is an Austrian billionaire, former racing driver, and the CEO and team principal of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team in the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship.

Torger Christian "Toto" Wolff was born on January 12, 1972, in Vienna, to a Polish mother and a Romanian father. Wolff married Susie Wolff in 2011, and in 2017, they had their only child together. Wolff also has two children from his previous marriage.
Toto Wolff is a renowned entrepreneur and investor. He founded Marchfifteen in 1998 and Marchsixteen Investments in 2004. Now, he is focused on strategic investments in medium-sized industrial and listed companies. Some of his past investments include Williams F1 and German HWA AG.
The Austrian famously also owns 33% of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, of which he is a CEO and Team Principal. The Team was valued at 3.8 Billion dollars by Forbes in 2023, becoming the second most valuable team after Scuderia Ferrari with a 3.9 billion dollars valuation.
Besides being an accomplished entrepreneur and investor, Toto Wolff is also a very talented former racer. He started his career in the Austrian and German Formula Ford Championship series in 1992.
Throughout his career, he won 24 Hours of Nurburgring in his category in 1994, won a race in the FIA GT Championship as well as the Italian GT Championship, finished second in the Austrian Rally Championship in 2006, won the 24 Hours of Dubai, and created a record lap on a Nurburgring Nordschleife in a Porsche RSR in 2009.
In 2013, Toto Wolff joined the Mercedes Formula One team as a shareholder and Executive Director. His role later expanded to becoming the Team Principal and CEO. Ever since the Austrian joined Mercedes, the team has seen tremendous success.
Throughout his career in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, Toto Wolff has won eight consecutive Constructors’ Championships and seven consecutive Drivers’ championships with the team. Besides other records, Wolff, with the Mercedes team, holds the record for the most consecutive Constructors’ Championships.
