Former owner of the F1 team Jordan Grand Prix, Eddie Jordan, stated he sees Max Verstappen as a mixture of two of the greatest drivers of all time.

Max Verstappen amassed 34 Grand Prix victories in only two seasons, extending his collection to 54 Grand Prix victories overall.

The Dutchman has been adding trophies to his collection at a faster rate than anybody else in the history of Formula One. Although he is only 26 years old, he is already being compared to the legends of the sport by many experts.

Only two drivers remain with more victories than the triple World Champion - Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher. In 2023, the Dutchman overtook drivers like Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, as well as Sebastiian Vettel.

He showed unbelievable consistency and was the only driver to finish every single one of the 28 races (including sprints) in the points.

Former F1 team owner Eddie Jordan sees the 26-year-old as a mixture of the two F1 legends. He told F1-Insider: "Max Verstappen is a mixture of Senna and Schumacher."

Verstappen's former team principal, Franz Tost, also compared him to the seven-time World Champion as he described how he first saw the Dutchman race in Formula 3.

Tost suggested the Dutchman beat everyone by an incredibly large margin (two seconds per lap), which reminded him of watching Schumacher in Formula Ford and said it was immediately clear he was an extraordinary driver.

Former F1 driver Timo Glock also compared the Dutchman to Schumacher as he said it is impossible to tell who would win a race between the two. Moreover, he said Verstappen and the seven-time World Champions would be equal in terms of talent.

The 2024 season is around, and there is quite a high chance for Red Bull to have a dominant car again. Do you think there is anybody on the grid at the moment who could stand up to the triple World Champion?
