Michael Schumacher is regarded as one of the best and most successful drivers ever. Besides many others, Schumacher is a holder of a record for the most Championship titles - 7. He shares this spot with Lewis Hamilton

Throughout the nineteen seasons that he spent in Formula One, Schumacher raced for multiple teams, such as Jordan, Benetton, Ferrari, and Mercedes. He claimed his first two titles in Benetton while becoming the youngest two-time World Champion at the time.

Schumacher won his following five titles in five consecutive seasons in the years 2000-2004, driving for Scuderia Ferrari. The German holds a record for the most consecutive titles in Formula One, and he contributed to what is one of the most successful periods of the Scuderia Ferrari team in their motorsport history.

The seven-time world champion is known as being one of the kindest people in the paddock off-track while also being ruthlessly competitive and relentless on-track. Jean Todt, a former team principal of the Scuderia Ferrari, said about Schumacher.

"Michael was a tireless worker. It wasn't just his talent, he put in a lot of work to get the maximum out of his career."

Schumacher had a three-year break after he left the Scuderia Ferrari team at the end of the 2006 season. In 2010, he returned to the newly formed Mercedes GP Petronas F1 Team, but after three seasons, he ended his Formula One career.

In December 2013, shocking and devastating news hit the world of Formula One. The German suffered a tragic skiing accident in the French Alps. Schumacher was put into a medically induced coma for several months following the accident. Since then, the details about his health have been held private.
