The 2024 F1 season is right around the corner, and yet another team,
McLaren, has unveiled their car for the new season.
With the new season fast approaching, the teams have started showing their challengers for the 2024 Formula One season. Currently, only a few teams are yet to show their new cars, as McLaren joined the list of teams that have already shown their new challengers.
After
Ferrari's launch the day prior, the British team revealed their car on February 14th, 2024, the same day as their rivals,
Mercedes, are set to unveil their car.
McLaren showcased their new MCL38 in a promotional video, also announcing in a press release that they will hit the track for promotional shooting before moving to the
Bahrain International Circuit, where all the teams will participate in pre-season testing between February 21st and 23rd.
The team's CEO,
Zak Brown, was part of the new car's launch, which took place in Silverstone, and the 52-year-old was happy about the work that the team put in to present their new challenger.
"It’s awesome to be able to launch our 2024 competitor, the MCL38, at Silverstone today. It’s great to see our new car in its 2024 livery on track and see the hard work and dedication of the team come together."
While the team in the factory stands behind the car, it will be the team's drivers,
Lando Norris and
Oscar Piastri, who will try to win races with it in 2024, and both were very excited about the MCL38 following the reveal, eager to jump into the car.

Andrea Stella, will be also hoping that the car would be competitive, as he wanted to follow up on the team's success from the previous season.
