Lewis Hamilton suggested he will remember his first day as a Ferrari driver in Maranello forever as he shared a message with his fans.

Lewis Hamilton, who is said to have reunited with his former trainer Angela Cullen, visited the Ferrari F1 team's factory and headquarters in Maranello as a Ferrari driver for the first time on Monday, January 20th.

In the morning, the 40-year-old arrived at the headquarters in Maranello and then went to Fiorano to Enzo Ferrari's house.

He was then greeted by and took pictures with Ferrari F1 team principal Fred Vasseur, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, and executive chairman John Elkann.

After the traditional first-day photos were taken, the seven-time world champion went on a tour of the garages and Enzo Ferrari's house with the two bosses.

Later, he returned to Scuderia HQ, where he met Piero Ferrari, the son of Enzo Ferrari, and then was personally greeted by all the employees from various divisions. See some of the highlights in the video below.

Lewis Hamilton seemed to have enjoyed his first day as official Ferrari driver in Maranello and he confirmed it via two posts that he shared on his Instagram. He wrote:

"There are some days that you know you'll remember forever and today, my first as a Ferrari driver, is one of those days."
"I've been lucky enough to have achieved things in my career I never thought possible, but part of me has always held on to that dream of racing in red."
"I couldn't be happier to realize that dream today. Today we start a new era in the history of this iconic team, and I can't wait to see what story we will write together."
"Day one. I'm grateful to John Elkann, Benedetto Vigna and Fred Vasseur for their trust in me and making me part of this family."
"I'm so excited to start this new era and to meet and work with a hugely talented and inspiring group of people, who have been so welcoming."
"I'm dedicated to bringing everything I have to deliver for the team, the wider organization, and the fans."
