Formula One pre-season testing at Bahrain International Circuit starts today, on the 21st of February. Here are the schedules of all teams that tell us which drivers will be on track and when.
F1 pre-season testing is one of the most exciting parts ahead of the start of each season because we get to witness each team's car on track for the first time.
We've previously seen car launches of every single team. While that already revealed the first hints of how each team is doing, we should get more insight during the three days of pre-season testing.
Many teams didn't even want to reveal all their cards during car launches, so we expect to see some new bits on multiple cars from Wednesday to Friday.
An important rule to mention is that every single team can only have one car on track at a time. Therefore, the three days are equally split between their drivers.
Some teams opted to give each driver one full day and then split one day equally, and others chose to split every single day so each of their drivers gets to drive the car every day.
Each session is nine hours long, with a one-hour-long lunch break in the middle. Both morning and evening drivers will get four hours to get familiar with their cars and test different setups.
Each morning testing session begins every day at 07:00 GMT and runs until 11:00 GMT. The testing session begins at 12:00 GMT each evening and runs until 16:00 GMT.
In total, every single driver will be afforded 12 hours to spend on track performing all the tests he needs. See the schedule below.
