United States Grand Prix.

Ferrari had a weekend full of ups and downs in Austin. On one hand, the Italian team achieved the best qualifying sessions out of all the teams on the grid.
Because of the worst tire strategy in the race on Sunday, Leclerc crossed the finish line in sixth place, falling five places lower from his original pole position at the start of Grand the Grand Prix.
As if all that was not enough, Pierre Gasly made a mockery of Ferrari and Charles Leclerc when he revealed Leclerc was asking him for his strategy on the grid before the race started.
It happened during an interview for F1 with British reporter Will Buxton, who was curious if the Alpine team ever considered the one-stop strategy. Gasly responded:
"No, there wasn’t. The first time it came up was when Charles came up to me on the grid and said, ‘Are you also going for a one-stop?’ and I was like, ‘There is no f**king way I’m going for a one-stop!’ and he was like ‘OK!’"
The Frenchmen described the encounter as confusing. However, it was clear after the race that Leclerc's strategy did not work out for him.
"We looked at each other, and I was a bit confused by what he was saying, but I think we did the best strategy we could and, from his face after, I don’t think he liked that one-stop strategy much!"
